Epic Conditions – On and Off the SlopesJason Waters, February 23, 2016 in Coming to Market, Real Estate
What a great week. “You can’t beat this” said one skier from Tiburon with whom I had the chance to talk on the ski lift. Fresh powder, sunshine, and comfortable ski temperatures have made for epic weeks in Tahoe as of late. Speaking of epic, I was able to get out yesterday and log 18,915 vertical feet at Northstar before heading into the office at noon. Vail resorts EpicMix app is free to download and tracks all your mileage from your ski pass. If you have a Northstar pass you can create an account, all data is saved automatically.
The epic ski conditions have spilled over into the real estate market. Strong attraction to resort luxury communities have sales pushing new market heights. Northstar and Martis Camp saw the heaviest activity recently, here are the highlights:
- Northstar Mountainside’s new Stellar Collection now has two ski-in/ski-out properties in contract (0ne Stellar Residence and one Stellar Townhome)
- The Ritz-Carlton now has a 3 bedroom residence in contract at $1,995,000
- Martis Camp currently has over $20,000,000 in real estate pending sales
COMING TO MARKET
Great Bear Residence 507 is newest to market in The Village at Northstar. It is not yet listed on the MLS, but we just received word that the listing agreement is signed with a price of $2,295,000. Everything in the residence is included in the sale price, which includes upgrades such as a Savant and AV system with Wii, 4K DVD and other gaming systems.
In Great Bear there are only two top floor corner residences. Residence 507’s corner location offers more windows, high ceilings and an additional deck. A bright and spacious residence perched above all the Village action.
